Road Conditions in Mongolia:
Mongolian roads vary greatly depending on the region and time of year. Most of Mongolia’s major attractions are located in the far corners of the country, where roads are unpaved or non-existent.
To get to the attractions, you must first drive through the middle of nowhere, and it is important to have a GPS to coordinate your route. During the summer tourist season, the roads can be muddy and slippery. As the saying goes, “Hope for the best but prepare for the worst” – this is the true Mongolian adventure.
